Quality Assurance Specialist

LOCATION: Columbus, Ohio

POSITION TERMS: 

100% on site 5 days per week.

Must be local or within a one hour drive

This position will be responsible developing and executing test scripts under the direction of a UAT Release Lead

  • Understand and effectively communicate the new or modified features and functions introduced in assigned releases as defined in Functional Design Documents.
  • Effectively communicate all questions to the UAT Release Lead; Respond appropriately.
  • Build positive relationships with UAT Release Leads and Team Members. Support UAT Release Lead in the distribution of test responsibilities with Stakeholder Agency UAT test leads and team.
  • Support successful release resource capacity and schedule targets.
  • Monitor and report individual resource metrics to track productivity and release schedule compliance.
  • Prepare and submit weekly status reports.
  • Support UAT Automation Test Lead for appropriate automation of new test scripts/scenarios.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts. Participate in regular meetings to triage defect resolution, coordinate and track retesting activities, and ensure schedule and quality compliance.
  • Support testing across (Eligibility & Enrollment, Call Center, Document Management, Automated Functions (BOTS)

 

SKILLS:

 

Experience with the development and execution of User Acceptance Tests Required 7
Describe how test management software is used to execute and monitor test processes. Required
Provide specific examples that demonstrate excellent communication skills. Desired
Knowledge of and experience testing Medicaid, SNAP/Cash, and Childcare Eligibility and Enrollment Systems and Policy Highly desired
Describe experience with the development and execution of Automated User Acceptance Tests. Highly desired
