ServiceNow Developer

LOCATION:  Columbus, Ohio

POSITION TYPE: 12 month contract
POSITION TERMS: This position is onsite 5 days/week
Face-to-Face interviews only

  • Enhancement & maintenance of existing custom solutions
  • Solutions development in the ServiceNow platform
  • Service Catalog item development
  • Participation in requirements and/or design review sessions
  • Ability to design and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that satisfy business requirements communicated in writing and/or verbally
  • Ability to troubleshoot/debug issues in existing applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot/debug platform issues using the System Logs and/or debugging tools.
  • Ability to use various browser-based debugging tools (ex: Chrome, IE, Firefox)
  • Ability to conduct demos with client stakeholders and elicit feedback.
  • Ability to work in an Agile project management environment
  • Possess excellent communication skills; both oral and written skills including strong meeting and work session skills
  • Proven experience in handling data conversion including but not limited to data integration (real time and batch) mapping, transformations, bulk data import/export, mass updates, cut over plan, exception handling

ServiceNow Client and Server JavaScript coding experience (Ex: Catalog Client Script, Business Rules, Script Actions, Script Includes, UI Pages) Required 6
ServiceNow Client and Server Scripting APIs (Ex: GlideDialogWindow, GlideForm, GlideAggregate, GlideRecord, GlideAjax Required 6
Experience building custom workflows Required 6
HTML/CSS/AJAX development experience Required 3
Role/group-based ACLs configuration and debugging Required 3
Service Portal development Service Portal Development(e.g. Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJs) Required 1
ServiceNow CSM or PSDS Experience Highly desired
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Highly desired
